class mindquantum.core.gates.PhaseDampingChannel(gamma: float, **kwargs)[source]

A phase damping channel.

Phase damping channel express error that qubit loses quantum information without exchanging energy with environment.

Phase damping channel applies noise as:

ϵ(ρ)=E0ρE0+E1ρE1where E0=[1001γ], E1=[000γ]

where ρ is quantum state as density matrix type; γ is the coefficient of quantum information loss.

Parameters

gamma (int, float) – damping coefficient.
