mindspore.numpy.tan
- mindspore.numpy.tan(x, dtype=None)[source]
Computes tangent element-wise.
Equivalent to \(np.sin(x)/np.cos(x)\) element-wise.
Note
Numpy arguments out, where, casting, order, subok, signature, and extobj are not supported.
- Parameters
x (Tensor) – Input tensor.
dtype (
mindspore.dtype
, optional) – Default:None
. Overrides the dtype of the output Tensor.
- Returns
Tensor or scalar. This is a scalar if x is a scalar.
- Raises
TypeError – If the input is not a tensor or the dtype of tensor is mindspore.float64.
- Supported Platforms:
Ascend
CPU
Examples
>>> import mindspore.numpy as np >>> x = np.array([-5, -1, 0, 2, 4, 100]).astype('float32') >>> print(np.tan(x)) [ 3.380515 -1.5574077 0. -2.1850398 1.1578213 -0.58721393]
