mindspore.ops.atan(input)[source]

Computes the trigonometric inverse tangent of the input element-wise.

\[out_i = \tan^{-1}(input_i)\]
Parameters

input (Tensor) – The shape of tensor is \((N,*)\) where \(*\) means, any number of additional dimensions. The data type should be one of the following types: float16, float32.

Returns

A Tensor, has the same type as the input.

Raises
  • TypeError – If input is not a Tensor.

  • TypeError – If dtype of input is not float16 or float32.

Supported Platforms:

Ascend GPU CPU

Examples

>>> import mindspore
>>> import numpy as np
>>> from mindspore import Tensor, ops
>>> x = Tensor(np.array([1.0, 0.0]), mindspore.float32)
>>> output = ops.atan(x)
>>> print(output)
